After all the hard work you do to help your children get healthy, don’t let your guard down for a second!
Well, that is what it feels like to be a parent sometimes. Everywhere you turn there is something that poses an imminent danger, especially to little ones. This blog post at Children’s MD (or Mom Docs) serves as a reminder of some things you might not always think about as posing risks to little kids. The usual suspects are listed, such as the pull cords for window blinds, and some valuable reminders, too, like “Wear a helmet when bking!” and “Make sure your kid’s car seat is safe!” A chilling warning about latex balloons, and the never-old caveat to not give very small children hard candy are worthy inclusions, indeed.
Parenting is an exhausting, 24-hour-a-day job. But if you don’t do it, who will?
